Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience leading teams and managing partnerships in the business application, industry vertical solution, or commercial data platform space.
- 10 years of experience with cloud-based ISV partnerships and Cloud Marketplaces.
- Experience driving enablement programs with partners to meet or exceed business goals, and launching new Go-to-Market offerings.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Salesforce and their C-level executives and business leaders.
- Experience in one or more business application domains (e.g., Customer Relationship Management, Customer Service, Enterprise Resource Planning).
- Experience in one or more industry verticals (e.g., Retail, Consumer Packaged Good, Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications).
- Ability to navigate sophisticated and nuanced business conversations in support to software-as-a-service solutions.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and presentation skills with ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
About the job
As the Google Cloud partnership leader for the relationship with Salesforce, you will develop and drive Google Cloud’s strategy and execution to create new joint solutions and offerings and be responsible for the success of the entire go-to-market motion. You will lead a team of Partnership Development Managers (PDMs) and partner engineers, and will collaborate with peers in Product Management, Sales, Marketing and Engineering organizations to ensure alignment with Google Cloud’s strategy and growth, launch and manage new initiatives that deepen the partnership with Salesforce across Google Cloud solution areas.
You will work across the different Salesforce teams, with the focus on building new joint solutions and creating new go-to-market opportunities, unlocking incremental revenue streams for Google Cloud and for Salesforce, and continuously strive for partner satisfaction.
In this role, you will build strategic relationships with the Salesforce executive suite, with their product and sales organization, with their channel partners and ensure there is a strong alignment between them and the Google Cloud executive team. You will be expected to be a collaborative thought leader that delivers growth and success across multi-channel motions, existing and emerging routes to market for Google Cloud and our partner. You will operate in a global capacity, spanning all geographies, and having 360 degree accountability for the partnership with Salesforce.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$369,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own and be accountable for the CxO alignment and partnership cadence with Salesforce globally.
- Own and be accountable for the 360 degree engagement with Salesforce globally, collaborating closely with Google Cloud Sales (Sell-to) and Procurement (Buy From), and maximizing strategic value of the partnership across Sell-To, Buy-From and Co-sell.
- Be a custodian of all agreements between the companies and accountable for all executive escalations.
- Understand Salesforce’s product portfolio and opportunity to create “better together” IP and value proposition. Own the joint co-innovation roadmap between Google Cloud and Salesforce.
- Hire, mentor, and manage a high performing team of global partner managers. Manage a cross-functional team spanning sales, marketing, product, legal and procurement, and advocate a partnership to executive leadership.
