VM Migrations Strategic Partner Development Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience serving in business development/customer or partner-facing roles relating to public cloud services.
  • Experience supporting partners in creation of go-to-market offerings (e.g., VMWare, SAP).
  • Experience taking new products and solutions to market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in developing GTM offerings (e.g., VMWare, SAP) based on industry and regional requirements.
  • Experience in launching and landing GTM offerings (e.g., VMWare, SAP) to customers and tracking new business.
  • Experience in delivering large cloud deals.
  • Understanding of competitor offerings, strong communication skills, and experience in conducting partner executive briefings.

The Partner Ecosystem team manages strategic relationships with our partners. In this role, you will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for Migrations, Applications and Infrastructure across the Partner ecosystem.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Help partners grow their business on Google Cloud by driving VM Migrations and related VMware applications solutions with the aim of serving as their trusted advisor for both pre-sales and post sales customer engagements.
  • Lead the life-cycle of GTM offering creation from business case, planning, governance, business value, solution differentiation, business growth modeling.
  • Work across sales, marketing, and partner teams to drive the VMware business in region.
  • Drive the creation of global demand generation and GTM plans to achieve Google Cloud and partner sales goals.
  • Be the single point of contact for the partners in your portfolio around key areas. Work cross-functionally to ensure prompt and proper resolution of key business challenges.
