Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in Business, Legal, Marketing, Finance or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
- Experience implementing strategic and large-scale initiatives in a demanding, change-oriented environment requiring a high degree of productivity.
- Experience with managing technology and investigative programs, particularly related to applications of AI.
- Experience with improving and scaling customer support through technology and operational initiatives.
- Experience in developing and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives, with excellent problem-solving skills.

As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will be part of a team providing project leadership to solve strategic questions in the gTech organization. You will develop solutions to complex, ambiguous and high-visibility business problems and opportunities.
You will work in close partnership with gTech teams and Strategy and Operations colleagues. You will be a collaborative, data-driven, and problem solver who is able to effectively lead and manage multiple workstreams, projects, and stakeholders across time zones on a global scale. You will be working with key partners across gTech to lead and support a mix of strategic and operational projects. You will also support the development of plans and recommendations for global and regional projects.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects that design, execute, and measure the impact of strategic initiatives, acting as a trusted advisor to executive leaders and helping to fulfill strategic goals.
- Own hypotheses and serve as a main contributor to findings and solutions, partnering with peers to deliver data-driven insights and problem-solving with senior leaders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across business areas to drive strategic recommendations. Proactively engage stakeholders across the company, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Policy teams.
- Support existing initiatives through analysis and project management, leading organizational change management plans for mid to long-term projects.
- Identify new opportunities and mobilize stakeholders to execute tactical plans to improve customer and seller satisfaction.
