Partner Engineer, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in a partnership-oriented role.
  • Experience in sales and implementation of Cloud infrastructure as a service.
  • Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the Public Cloud industry.

About the job

As a Partner Engineer, you will help grow the Cloud business by building and expanding relationships with partners. In this role, you will be an advisor to partners and an advocate for data privacy solutions, providing support to Executive, Analyst, and Engineering teams at partner companies. You will accompany partners as they design joint solutions and bring them to market.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Partner Managers to identify and recruit partners in the market that can deliver solutions to our customers, built on top of Google Cloud.
  • Develop our partners’ technical teams with both business and technical competencies.
  • Keep partners up-to-date with product and technical knowledge and market differentiators. Advise on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to implement a solution.
  • Work with partner technical representatives in opportunities and projects.
  • Serve as a technical advocate within Google for our partners in order to help provide feedback from the field, as well as to present on their behalf.
