Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role supporting customers in cloud operations, technical support, escalation management, or IT consulting.
- 4 years of experience working with stakeholders to architect, develop, or maintain cloud solutions in cloud environments.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires communicating with clients and stakeholders locally and internationally.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in translating business requirements into technological solutions.
- Experience in application or workload migration to public cloud providers.
- Experience collaborating with teams, groups, business units, channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Understanding of IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, application development, service architecture, cloud-native application development, hosted services, storage systems, or content delivery networks.
- Ability to present technical materials to various stakeholder groups and engage with executives of large enterprises on both technical and non-technical matters.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

As a Technical Account Advisor, you will be responsible for a team that ensures that customers get the most value from their Google Cloud Platform and workspace investments. You will utilize relationship management skills and technical credibility to effectively manage and influence key stakeholders, both internally and externally, through clear and concise communication at all levels of the organization. You will track outcomes to improve the health, performance, and business capabilities to drive customer value realization. You will also share best practices with the counterparts in other regions and will place an emphasis on shared success across the team and across regions. You will travel as needed.

Responsibilities
- Work with regional leads to set the standard for successful delivery and execution on customer engagements, lead with action when it comes to making customers in the assigned regions successful.
- Establish and maintain the team’s position as a key strategic advisor to business executives and IT stakeholders for Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace accounts, ensuring their business priorities are met using Google Cloud solutions.
- Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful migrations to Google Cloud solutions.
- Support cloud adoption blocker removal, lead feature request processes, and work cross-functionally to troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed for customers.
- Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support, Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure customer success, and work with customers and support to guide issues/escalations to resolution.
