Strategic Partner Manager, Media Company, YouTube (Italian, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience of working commercially with partners in TV/Media/Sport/Family and kids.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience in business leadership and partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in Italian and Spanish fluently, as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building rights agreements, working with legal and strategy teams.
  • Experience launching new products, tracking business metrics, and providing insights and feedback to product teams.
  • Experience working within a regional/global, matrixed business, influencing multiple internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex, ambiguous topics.

As Strategic Partner Manager, you will lead strategic partnerships with Media Company partners. You will inspire and educate content partners, to ensure YouTube’s product features and tools help to meet their business objectives. You will provide market insight to regional and global strategy teams to advocate and prioritize for the needs of our partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead relationships across the creator ecosystem, define strategies and priorities, and collaborate closely with global/regional teams. Advocate for creators, proactively identify and manage local challenges, actively communicate opportunities and risks, and partner with global and cross-functional teams to influence business and product strategy.
  • Navigate complexity and ambiguity, partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to drive alignment, clarity and execution. Support structuring of incentive and acquisition programs, review legal agreements, and support the team through execution.
  • Drive activation of new product features, track business metrics and insights, and promote a culture of constructive feedback for team success.
