Manager, Platforms Analytics

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in marketing analytics, strategy consulting, financial modeling, or statistical analysis.
  • 5 years of experience in a sales leadership and people management role, including coaching, mentoring, and team development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., experimentation frameworks, attribution models, measuring incrementally, statistical approaches, SQL, R, Python etc.).
  • Experience working with Google marketing platform, especially display and video 360 and campaign manager 360.
  • Experience with Google Cloud, BigQuery, or other public cloud data warehouses.
  • Experience in marketing experiments and statistical analyses to identify insights and measure return on investment.
  • Experience in leveraging advertising technology to build scalable activation and measurement solutions for sales, marketing, or agency organizations.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management internally and externally.

About the job

In this role, you will oversee a center of excellence model and serve as the team’s subject matter expert. Leveraging your quantitative expertise in advanced analytics, experimentation and measurement you will empower large customers, agencies, and digital channel partners with the requisite data and insights to achieve their business goals with Google Marketing Platform tech adoption and media buying. This involves orchestrating high-impact customer engagements in collaboration with Google's ad sales teams, and advocating best practices to activate, measure and quantify performance. Furthermore, you will be a key cross-functional partner to sales operations, product, and engineering to develop case studies and provide critical feedback to improve solutions. You will act as a strategist to explore and uncover opportunities for better marketing results. You will possess profound expertise in marketing science and the digital media ecosystem. Your role demands a demonstrable track record of cultivating influential relationships with executive stakeholders, deftly navigating various cross-functional environments, managing initiatives, and articulating compelling, data-driven narratives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team that develops and owns the strategy for advanced activation and measurement use cases to drive revenue growth of Google Marketing Platform.
  • Cultivate and manage executive-level relationships with internal stakeholders including Programmatic Sales, Google Marketing Platform ad tech Sales, Data Measurement and Analytics teams, Product, and Sales Operations to ensure alignment with market/client needs and coordinated execution.
  • Represent the market, synthesizing and distilling learnings across customer engagements and research to influence Google sales and product strategies.
  • Uplevel Google and customer (advertiser/agency/partner) knowledge through high impact workshops, playbooks and perspectives.
  • Develop and amplify thought leadership monetizing media and measurement use cases through scaled sales channels, product forums, and industry events/articles.
