Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships or account management in the Web, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Strong influencing skills and experience leading without authority.
  • Driven and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and solve complex problems.

About the job

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

In this role, you'll provide account and relationship management to a portfolio of strategic partners that includes many well-known brand sites in the DACH markets. You will be responsible for driving our business forward by promoting the full Google suite of publisher and developer products. The primary online advertising solution you will be using is Google Ad Manager for desktop and mobile publishers. Your key focus will be providing the right product mix for a partner across the full range of their online properties. You will build new partnerships with key online companies in your market and develop innovative new ways to help partners grow their advertising earnings with Google. You’ll also contribute to the development of strategies for your market and organize and execute on industry events.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic publishing clients, adding value to our partners' business by proposing the optimal Google business generation solution. 
  • Build trusted, strategic relationships with B-C level stakeholders within the organizations of our largest partners and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges.
  • Provide a dependable and responsive service to our partners, focusing on partners needs for mutual benefit.
  • Manage the medium sized portfolio of partners at scale by collaborating with our partner support and scaled marketing teams.
  • Build joint business plans between Google and the largest publishers to drive continued long-term partner satisfaction and business growth.
