Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Web, Search

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in advertising, ads business generation, publishing, online services or ad business.
  • Experience with digital advertising landscape, including ad serving, video business generation, ad exchanges and programmatic business trends.
  • Experience in working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience with identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Ability to think, analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate in English to interact with local stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with publishers and organizations.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Sellside BR team is responsible for growing Google's business with local publishers, from video, web, search and apps with product solutions including Ad Manager, AdSense, AdMob and other Google products, such as Google Analytics.

In this role, you will provide account and relationship management to a portfolio of partners from the Brazilian market, including well known brands in the News and nascent video partners. You will be responsible for driving business forward by promoting the full Google suite of publisher's business generation products. You will build new partnerships with online companies in your market and develop new ways to help partners grow their advertising earnings with Google. You will also contribute to the development of strategies for your market and organize and execute on industry events.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with key players in Web and Search industries, including News, Information and Search partners.
  • Understand how ads fit into a partner's business strategy, as well as inventory trends and direct and indirect channel priorities. Manage a portfolio of accounts, driving pipeline and activation plans for addressing business growth opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with B to C-level stakeholders within the organizations of partners and develop an understanding of their business tests.
  • Provide a dependable and responsive service to partners, focusing on partners needs for mutual benefit.
  • Build Joint Business Plans between Google and the publishers to drive partner satisfaction and business growth.
