To participate in the Google Student Ambassador program, you must be located in the United States and have valid legal work authorization for the duration of the program. This is a remote paid position. If your status requires Curricular Practical Training (CPT) authorization, please consult with your school to confirm your eligibility to participate in this program before applying.
While this is a remote paid position, Ambassadors are required to be physically present on their currently enrolled university or college campus throughout the program.
Google is a global company and, in order to facilitate efficient collaboration and communication globally, English proficiency is a requirement for this Ambassador program.

Minimum qualifications:
- Actively enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited university in the U.S. All fields of study are encouraged to apply.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in event planning or workshop facilitation.
- Passion for AI, machine learning, technology, and familiarity with Gemini app.
- Ability to be active in campus clubs, organizations, or leadership roles with a strong, authentic network among peers, with a large following on social media, posting regular content.
- Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and take creative initiative to meet program goals.
- Excellent public speaking, presentation, and people management skills, with the ability to be comfortable hosting groups both online and in-person.

The Details
Inaugural Cohort: March - June 2026
Time Commitment: Up to 10 hours per week on average for the full duration of the program. (Note: Detailed time commitment on a daily basis may fluctuate based on seasonalities / activities.)
Location: Your university or college campus while classes are in session
No conflicting employment affiliations with other AI platforms.

Responsibilities
- Organize and lead engaging on-campus events, such as AI-powered study sessions, "Prompt Battles," content creation jams, and tabling events. Establish and manage a dedicated campus community (e.g., club, online group, or Discord channel) where peers can share tips, ask questions, and collaborate on Gemini projects.
- Conduct regular, informal learning sessions demonstrating practical applications of Gemini for tasks like exam prep, summarizing research, generating code snippets, and sparking creative ideas. Develop and share authentic, engaging content (e.g., short videos, blog posts, social media takeovers, Instagram Reels/TikToks) that showcase how Google’s AI tools are relevant to student life and academic success.
- Utilize your existing networks within student organizations, academic departments, and campus media to promote Google AI events and resources. Act as the main point of contact between Google and your university community, sharing the latest product updates, news, and opportunities.
- Gather and synthesize genuine student feedback, observations, and use-cases to help Google's product and marketing teams improve the student experience. Provide weekly or monthly reports on event attendance, social media engagement, and community growth metrics.
