Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience using the business life cycle to manage business.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in strategy consulting, in-house consulting, business development, or consultative sales.
  • Experience in executive stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of the digital marketing products and landscape.
  • Ability to create strategies with imperfect information to deliver business goals.

  • Excellent business acumen including problem solving with extensive quantitative analysis.

As an International Growth Consultant, you will focus on driving international business and global client growth. You will understand customer business needs and growth ambitions, leveraging sales expertise, problem-solving skills, and influence with key stakeholders. You will identify insights, deliver recommendations, and solve complex problems for major brands, startups, and scaleups. Collaboration, mentorship, and sharing expertise are central to success within this team environment.

In this role, you will have the autonomy and support to achieve business goals by collaborating with Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sellers. The goal is to educate and enable customers to utilize Google insights, technology and solutions, including AI, for rapid scaling and expansion. The impact of these consultants on customer growth is frequently highlighted in company performance reports.

Responsibilities

  • Consult Google’s largest customers on how to successfully grow their international business by understanding customer objectives, building data-driven business recommendations, and shaping their expansion strategy across markets/verticals.
  • Conceive of innovative ideas, approaches, and solutions to identify growth opportunities for customers and scale them.
  • Provide end-to-end support to clients along their export journey, from market identification to in-market expertise including how to overcome key operational hurdles (e.g., payments, customer experience, logistics, localization).
  • Be a strong team player, contributing to the positive and culture of the International Growth team and positively influencing your own development, and the development of those around you.
