Minimum qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience analyzing and applying industry, market, and organizational information to strategies and plans.
  • 5 years of experience using the sales life-cycle to drive business.
  • 4 years of experience working in a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working with executive leaders of an organization on projects or programs.

As a Functional Insights Specialist, you influence internal and external stakeholders by engaging in data-driven analyses and storytelling. Developing easy-to-scale and automated pitches, narratives and industry thought leadership pieces, you enable account teams in their efforts to help our customers transform. You leverage different data sources to generate powerful consumer insights and identify ways to make our offerings and concepts as relevant as possible for our customers. For that, you also lead primary research projects that can unlock new growth opportunities and become a partner to the industry heads. You support business growth by uncovering actionable insights for customers, transforming them into easy-to-scale, automated pitches and engage in strategic storytelling also on stages influencing the industry. In this role, you'll work across a portfolio of key clients in the retail industry to optimize their online advertising strategies.

As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consulting on client's/partner’s strategy in the areas of business, marketing, or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions or insights to facilitate business decision-making and analyze/build an understanding of client/partner business and stakeholders.
  • Act as a consultant to work with client/partner leadership and stakeholders to develop joint business plans (JBPs), review JBPs and provide input to improve the JBPs or add agreement/services.
  • Build dashboards to generate, synthesize, and report relevant data to clients/partners, develop or use tools to analyze or forecast client/partner business, the industry, or consumer behaviors.
  • Use investigative insights to align products and offerings with clients/partners marketing objectives, leveraging and collaborating with product specialist teams and create forward-thinking and data-driven stories, narratives, and sales pitches.
