Product Manager II, Chrome Enterprise

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience in managing global compliance and regulatory requirements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving product strategy, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions, with an emphasis on meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Experience creating strategic product roadmaps, working with cross-functional teams, considering compliance needs.
  • Experience communicating across cross-functional partners (e.g., Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Partnerships) at all management levels.
  • Experience developing products within Cloud, SaaS, Enterprise, or Security environments.
  • Excellent written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent innovative thinker who grow in ambiguity, collaborates effectively across organizational boundaries, builds relationships, importing talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager on the Chrome Enterprise team, you will be responsible for designing new Chrome features addressing key enterprise use cases, with a focus on compliance-related features and government legislative requirements across Chrome Enterprise Core and Chrome Enterprise Premium. Our customers are IT and Security administrators around the world looking to use Chrome as their secure enterprise browser, managing risk across devices and users. You will collaborate with teams across Google, including Cloud Security, Chrome OS, Google Workspace, and industry partners. You will also identify and grow opportunities for Chrome Enterprise in both established and emerging areas such as security, compliance, and artificial intelligence.

We’re focused on making a better browser (on both desktop and mobile) to help users take advantage of all the web has to offer in a safe and secure way.Chrome is available across all major platforms — iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

Responsibilities

  • Work with IT and Security administrators to understand what they and their employees need from a modern browser, including compliance needs.
  • Lead the development of new features that address key enterprise needs in management, security, productivity, and compliance.
  • Lead all aspects of feature launch from Product Requirements Document (PRD), design doc, privacy/security/legal/User Experience (UX) sign-offs, etc.
  • Design features and solutions that IT and Security decision makers value, are scalable, and unlock adoption across multiple geographies and verticals.
  • Drive product insights, be an expert in regulatory and compliance needs, and partner closely with Privacy and Legal teams across Google.
