Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or content strategy, with exposure to areas like media strategy, news publishers or internet based businesses.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience across sales and business development/consulting/content strategy, with exposure to areas like media strategy, news publishers or internet based businesses.
  • Excellent partnership skills, and demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally and externally.
  • Excellent communication, investigative, organizational and presentation skills.

As a Strategic Partner Manager on the Content Partnerships team at YouTube, you'll have a unique opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of partners, and to apply and hone business skills in an entrepreneurial environment. You're comfortable working on complex content agreements with partners, as well as working cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines, to ensure our partners are positioned for success on YouTube and to provide the best possible experience for our users.

In this role as a Strategic Partner Manager in Content Partnerships for YouTube, you would have the opportunity to work with partners that include traditional and next-generation or digital-first publishers, to advocate for the YouTube platform and create a healthy ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow direct relationships with a portfolio of partners, which includes day-to-day partnership activities, performance growth, and advocate internally on behalf of our partners.
  • Define, model, execute against and analyze key distribution and product adoption metrics and recommend improvements internally and to partners, as well as develop new opportunities.
  • Work with teams, across the YouTube Business Organization and cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Policy, Comms, Legal and others) to bring the solutions to partners.
