Account Strategist, SBS Sales, Google Customer Solutions, France (English, French)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of mobile, apps and digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged selling.
  • Experience in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and achieve goals to drive growth.

Your understanding of online media combined with your commercial know-how shape how new and existing businesses grow. Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Google to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach thousands or millions of users.

The Engage team is a sales team designed to grow small-sized businesses in Ireland with significant expansion potential. The Engage seller is a more executive role of the wider Scaled sales team that specializes in delivering the most effective solutions to high potential small businesses from all verticals and business models, in each stage of their journey, in the most efficient way for the business and with a high performing sales team at scale.

As an Engage Account Strategists, you will be the front-line seller who will represent Google. You will establish relationships by conducting regular phone consultations and sales pitches with a large portfolio of clients. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will provide Google-caliber solution selling, partnership management and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. Using your commercial acumen, you will uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their marketing objectives while driving incremental business agreements through our industry leading advertising solutions.Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Build and manage relationships with clients virtually, via email, or by meeting with multiple clients on a daily basis and developing an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objections.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
