Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in C++.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with embedded systems, wireless communications and networking.
  • Experience with a variety of programming languages, including C, C++, Java/Kotlin and Swift.
  • Ability to to work on their own and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

In this role, with your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Thread Group on Thread standards evolvement.
  • Design, develop, improve Thread features in Linux and Android platforms.
  • Integrate Thread into Google Thread products across various OSs(Linux/Android/Fuchsia).
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in complex Matter-over-Thread smart home ecosystems. This includes deep troubleshooting of issues spanning various Thread Border Routers/Home Hubs (from different manufacturer ecosystems), a broad spectrum of Matter Thread-enabled accessories, and the associated iOS/Android mobile applications.
