Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with embedded systems, wireless communications and networking.
- Experience with a variety of programming languages, including C, C++, Java/Kotlin and Swift.
- Ability to to work on their own and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Collaborate with Thread Group on Thread standards evolvement.
- Design, develop, improve Thread features in Linux and Android platforms.
- Integrate Thread into Google Thread products across various OSs(Linux/Android/Fuchsia).
- Diagnose and resolve issues in complex Matter-over-Thread smart home ecosystems. This includes deep troubleshooting of issues spanning various Thread Border Routers/Home Hubs (from different manufacturer ecosystems), a broad spectrum of Matter Thread-enabled accessories, and the associated iOS/Android mobile applications.
