Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity role, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience contributing to initiatives or cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience with data analysis, financial/operational modeling and structured problem solving.
  • Ability to work on their own and proactively to deliver results with limited oversight.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and grow in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and deliver high-quality analysis.

About the job

As a Strategic Projects Associate within ABS&O, you will drive analysis and execution for transformational initiatives across Google's advertising business. You will partner with cross-functional teams to solve problems and build deliverables that bring new platforms to life. This is an opportunity to grow through mentorship and play a direct role in high-impact projects that shape the organization's future.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000-$138,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Design and scale operating models, frameworks and processes that deliver durable growth and impact for ALCS.
  • Drive workstreams such as organizational design, investment analyses, AI-first execution pilots and cross-organizational special projects.
  • Structure data, develop frameworks and synthesize insights that simplify complexity and inform decision making.
  • Collaborate with partners in GTM, LCS, Finance, Marketing and other teams to ensure alignment and accelerate execution.
  • Sharpen problem-solving, communication and execution skills while contributing to projects spanning multiple domains.
