Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working with Java.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

In this role you will be doing full stack development but focused primarily on the backend. We write code in Java and Angular/Typescript but also have machine learning models that use Python.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and run systems that automate Alphabet’s supply chain.
- Collaborate with developers, logistics operations leads and business systems analysts across Google.
- Identify opportunities for improving engineering productivity.
- Explore the applicability of emerging technology to the logistics execution space.
- You will be writing code to enable and optimize the logistics processes at play in movement of material into and out of Google's compute and network sites focusing on forward logistics and reverse logistics.
