New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 2 years of experience in new product introduction operations management or supply chain management, manufacturing operations, development or operations engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in Contract Manufacturer (CM) management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to present to management with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent quantitative reasoning, creativity and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall factory and build readiness with Engineering, Operations, and Contract Manufacturer (CM) teams.
  • Ensure production transitions through Product Development Process (PDP) stages and meeting program goals. Manage NPI builds and production readiness with internal and external team.
  • Lead the Operations team in planning and executing copy site validation builds and product ramps, and meet product launch demand.
  • Manage all operations-related communications, upward and downward, throughout the organization. Escalate key issues and present options for resolution to the cross-functional executive teams.
  • Initiate projects to streamline existing processes, reduce costs.
