Senior Application Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience with configuration and custom development for CRM modules in Salesforce.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with business applications.
  • Experience coding in APEX.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect, or Salesforce Technical Architect.
  • Experience with web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, or AJAX) and Web Services (e.g., RESTful, SOAP).
  • Experience with lightning web components and Salesforce DX (Developer Experience).

About the job

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.

In this role, you will help to build the sales platform that will drive Google’s sell-side business and ensure execution and operations against desired business outcomes and priorities.

Within Global Partnerships, the Sell side organization works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The team partners with Publishers and App Developers of all sizes to promote their ad inventory, working with Google’s broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager, across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the Internet.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineering, Business, Privacy, Security, and Legal teams to enable and sustain business systems that support the Global Partnerships (GP) Sell-side business.
  • Design, develop, and sustain business critical applications, leveraging a spectrum of technologies, including the Salesforce platform.
  • Deliver key new features using the Salesforce platform and adjacent technologies.
  • Work with teams to create an integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to support cross-functional use cases. Develop and support Salesforce applications using Apex and Lightning technologies.
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners to help drive system goals. Lead and manage the design, configuration and deployment of CRM and other modules to support business automation.
