Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in 2 of the following areas: Logistics, Warehousing, Transportation, Network Design or Data Center Logistics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with Process Engineering and Lean Manufacturing Tools.
  • Experience with supply chain analytics.
  • Excellent communication, program management, and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare and present detailed documented business cases to stakeholders and management.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The team is responsible for developing logistics infrastructure to deploy Google’s compute power. You will be responsible for working across the Google Cloud Logistics team and partner teams to deliver transformational programs. These programs will span the globe and deliver step changes in how Google delivers capacity.

As the Program Manager, you will own and manage internal supply chain processes and system design. The programs will reduce cycle times, improve quality, or remove variability for material delivery into the global network. You will work cross-functionally across the logistics, planning, and software teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to understand individual needs and develop scalable solutions.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement and develop programs to address below goal KPIs.
  • Develop and implement strategic programs to solve logistics problems.
  • Design key logistics processes that improve internal supply chain performance, multi-node efficiencies, and performance.
