- 15 years of experience in advertising, with experience in visual communication and a focus on creative leadership.
- Experience developing and executing global marketing campaigns that achieved business outcomes.
- Experience driving cross-organizational collaborations and acting as a partner for executive leaders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience developing and executing strategies that lead to significant market impact, whether for a challenger brand seeking to disrupt, a winning brand aiming to stay ahead, or a novel product/service entering the market.
- Experience identifying and owning complex, multi-dimensional relationships across organizations and teams.
- Ability to demonstrate new thinking around storytelling and how it's woven into through-the-line integrated campaigns.
About the job
As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.
As Director and Creative Lead for Platform and Devices (P&D), you will define and enhance the creative outlook for key products. This includes new launches and global campaigns across all channels, shaping the brand experience while strengthening brand love and trust. You will lead conceptual development and create excellent marketing output. You will drive creative excellence through your leadership, leveraging a maker mindset always leading to detailed execution. You will excel at cross-functional collaboration and build relationships, ensuring our creative aligns with customer, brand, and business goals. You will manage complex brand and marketing challenges and act as a critical resource and decision maker in Google Marketing.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$369,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
