Programmatic Account Executive, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
  • Experience with one or more of the following areas: programmatic advertising, programmatic marketing, agency management, advertising agency, video advertising, display advertising.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and established relationships within Canada's programmatic agency ecosystem.
  • Understanding of the industry's issues, a goal for its growth, and a commitment to advance strategies within the marketplace.
  • Demonstrated strategic and problem-solving sales approach to building client relationships.

As a Programmatic Account Executive, you will use your communication skills and investigative abilities to build new and existing businesses. You will influence relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, explore and uncover the business needs of Google's clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the goal and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with programmatic clients, develop and execute a growth strategy that aligns to customer business objectives.
  • Build relationships with internal Google cross-functional teams and be a trusted advisor to customer and agency leadership teams.
  • Optimize business growth while attaining quarterly and annual goals and deliver accurate business projections and actively manage the pipeline.
  • Use and grow knowledge of online media and technology combined with expert communication skills and investigative abilities to drive new and existing display and video business business.
  • Advocate the critical role agencies play in Canada's programmatic ecosystem. Keep up to date with digital industry changes and Google's current positioning and how that will change in the future.
