Country Director, Poland

Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in sales leadership, and experience in general management in technology, advertising, or Internet industries.
  • Experience driving revenue performance and growing businesses in Poland.
  • Experience in people management and cross-functional leadership.
  • Experience working in multinational, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, community organizations, or government entities.
  • Ability to communicate in Polish and English fluently to communicate with and serve Polish speaking customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a regional/country manager, or in cross-cultural or multi-market leadership.
  • Experience leading executive-level customer conversations, translating complex AI capabilities into tangible business value and long-term ROI.
  • Ability to set business plans and sales strategy, and take ownership of driving commercial activities.
  • Ability to focus and prioritize in a fast-growing business environment, particularly for revenue-generating activities.
  • Ability to learn Google products to understand value proposition and growth potential.
  • Excellent analytical acumen and thought leadership.

As a Country Director, you work with customers and market influencers to establish long-term visions for advertisers, publishers and partners. You partner with the Sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the country’s day-to-day operations. You deeply understand the context of the market, and set visions that inspire your organization.

Within Google, you are the primary advocate of your country. You share the opportunities and challenges of the market, and voice the priorities for our products. Within region, you set transparent objectives, collaborate with your functional counterparts and execute. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate a large team. You use an analytical approach to sales management to develop and grow some of the most significant agencies and businesses in the market.

As the Country Director, you will lead a highly skilled and ambitious commercial team. You'll drive how businesses and consumers view Google, and shape how new and existing businesses grow. You will use an analytical approach to sales leadership to develop and grow some of the most significant start-ups, exporters, and businesses in the market.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and commercial operations to deliver business growth, with a focus on large advertisers. Build key external relationships to open up business opportunities. 
  • Represent Google in the market beyond business relationships as needed and represent the country to Google (e.g., product challenges and opportunities).
  • Lead cross-functionally, bringing teams together around an integrated plan for Google’s success in the market.
  • Establish strong relationships with senior level individuals in the advertising ecosystem.
  • Meet and exceed country business goals. Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and assist the team in closing these key accounts.
