Director, Large Customer Sales Data and Measurement, EMEA

Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in the advertising technology field, including 10 years of team/people management and advertising data and measurement experience.
  • Experience in sales coaching of both sales managers and sellers, and leading an organization through your direct report managers.
  • Experience in delivering tangible business outcomes, including customer return on investment.
  • Experience developing customer-centric value propositions for both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced media effectiveness methodologies, including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMMs), multi-touch attribution, and incrementality testing/experimentation.
  • Experience driving change with senior stakeholders, within your own organization, adjacent internal teams, and client organizations.
  • Proven success as a people manager with ability to build a high-performing sales team and a solid and inclusive team culture, while actively developing high-potential talent.
  • Proven commercial success in relevant industries such as media sales, technology sales, agency or client-side sales leadership roles.

About the job

In this job you’ll lead our EMEA strong center efforts around Data, Measurement, Privacy, and Media Effectiveness (referred to as D&M). This team is at the cutting edge of product innovation, customer business growth, and regulatory compliance in a rapidly changing ecosystem. In this role, you will influence and collaborate with local Country Managers, global Product and Engineering teams, and central strategy teams. Our D&M Account Managers are highly skilled sellers with both deep business acumen and technical expertise. They design creative solutions for our customers’ most complex challenges and business objectives. Our mission is to boost our customers' growth by leveraging data and measurement to fuel their AI performance, and to prove the value of their investment with Google. With an expanded scope that now includes media effectiveness, particularly incrementality, the team is pivotal in translating strong measurement foundations into demonstrable ROI for our customers and incremental revenue for Google. We’re looking for an experienced commercial and strategic leader to guide our EMEA D&M team. In this position, you will lead and coach a high-performing team of frontline managers and senior sellers. This is an exciting opportunity to set the EMEA measurement vision and strategy that directly connects advanced measurement solutions to customer value and revenue growth. You must also be a "connector," adept at scaling knowledge to our frontline sales teams, enabling them to work on foundational measurement conversations so your team can focus on the next wave of complexity.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with country leadership, product and engineering leadership, as well as Legal, Marketing and Strategy departments to develop EMEA business plans for D&M with a clear focus on driving commercial impact and directly contributing to Google's incremental revenue goals.
  • Identify and solve problems, leading through ambiguity and co-creating with others.  
  • Provide advertisers with solutions that help them reach their full potential and achieve their business and marketing objectives.
  • Act as a strategic connector to the broader sales organization. Develop and execute plans to scale measurement knowledge and capability, enabling frontline teams to handle foundational discussions and freeing the D&M team to focus on the most complex challenges.
  • Contribute to global product and process innovation, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of our existing and emerging solutions, product vision, and emerging customer needs.
