Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
- Experience in developing software applications using TypeScript.
- Experience with type systems, object-oriented programming, and JavaScript frameworks.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Angular TypeScript, Javascript, and Data Visualization.
- Experience with back-end technologies using Java.
- Experience writing front-end tests with a framework.
- Experience designing and implementing efficient large-scale distributed systems through the full project life-cycle.
- Familiarity with web services and API ecosystems, or client-server environments.
- Passionate about front-end excellence and user experience.

Responsibilities
- Manage project goals, contribute to product strategy, and help develop teams.
- Hire, coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, scalable and reliable services.
- Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity of the team and organization. Design and implement scalable solutions that are highly performant, secure, and efficient for Googlers.
- Work closely with cross-functional, cross-organization and cross-site teams to deliver projects from scoping to full production landing. Own the execution end-to-end and influence without authority.
- Contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the product. Collaborate with other teams to identify and create common shareable infrastructure across tools.
