Head of Sales, GMP Acquisitions and Onboarding

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing or coaching a sales, partnerships, or similar goal-driven team with external-facing customers.
  • Experience with tech sales or ad sales.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience in programmatic business development.
  • Knowledge of the linear, connected TV (CTV), social, and digital video marketplace and passion for Google's ad products, YouTube and Display and Video 360.
  • Ability to collaborate across different stakeholders to build and execute strategies.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build relationships with executive clients and stakeholders.
  • Passion for developing talent and fostering a culture of collaboration.

The GMP GCS Acquisitions team is a newly established business program that will drive incremental business growth on Google’s tech platform (GMP) by partnering with customers and agencies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$297,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and foster C-Level relationships, and generate growth from a set of key accounts.
  • Hire and nurture a high-performing team of programmatic sellers. Recruit talent, foster their professional development, and create a culture of learning and excellence.
  • Build relationships with partners across Google. Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to identify opportunities, share insights, and drive customer success.
  • Advocate programmatic advertising within GCS. Develop innovative strategies to acquire new clients and ensure their onboarding onto Google's programmatic platforms.
  • Partner with cross-functional and peer leaders to serve as an industry thought leader in order to empower sellers to have more conversations and accelerate business growth.
