Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience scripting in SQL.
  • Experience in supply chain operations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or data/analytics experience in the supply chain or operations domain.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to demonstrate performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.
  • Ability to grow in ambiguous and evolving environments, requiring alignment at senior levels and across numerous organizations.
  • Excellent project management, people-management, and communication skills are coupled with an attention to detail, along with excellent problem-solving and organizational change management skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The Machine Learning (ML) Supply Chain and Operations team is responsible for driving fulfillment and transforming Google’s ML fleet by balancing and shaping demand intent from our Product Areas, deployment decisions for new technology, and supply capability across data centers, networking, and machines. You will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of new server Machine Learning builds. Your focus will be on setting projections by taking in a number of inputs and ensuring the seamless and efficient execution of these demands, with an emphasis on orchestration and process improvement throughout the entire supply chain. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a cross-functional projects within one of the most advanced computing infrastructures.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own and manage internal demand, supply, including setting and delivering to customer expectations for capacity including understanding deployment processes and dependencies.
  • Work across organizational teams to understand issues and drive resolution across boundaries and levels within the supply chain and operations teams. Troubleshoot issues, identify risk areas and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Drive efforts to improve efficiency, cycle times, reliability, predictability and on-time delivery.
  • Communicate health, status and actions to stakeholders including Product Areas, management and partner organizations.
  • Collaborate across organizational levels and boundaries.
