Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C#, Python, SQL Server database, Oracle database; or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
- 2 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Experience maintaining manufacturing execution system (MES) in the semiconductor industry.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
As a Software Engineer you will be the first point of contact for supporting the software applications used in the semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will be included in software installation, upgrading the software applications, software build management and releases, testing the software and writing scripts for automating the tasks. You will have working knowledge in using Oracle and SQL server databases.
Due to the nature of the work, this role requires coming to work five days a week.
Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot MES (Manufacturing Execution System), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Equipment data collection, Engineering software applications and third party software applications.
- Write SQL queries for supporting adhoc requests.
- Support the testing of software applications before releasing to production environment.
- Setup and support build and release management activities.
- Work on multiple overlapping projects at the same time and work separately with minimal supervision.
