Strategy and Operations Manager, Nordics

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a technology or consulting firm, or equivalent experience in product management, finance, corporate strategy or sales operation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in sales or marketing with the ability to make pragmatic decisions when implementing initiatives with sales teams.
  • Ability to identify business issues and opportunities on their own by taking customer needs in consideration, thinking creatively about solutions and creating well-structured plans for them by weighing risks.
  • Ability to lead operational initiatives and engage with stakeholders, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Ability to collaborate within the team to influence and build relations across various Google functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, business judgment with the ability to communicate and present to executive sales leaders.

About the job

As a part of the Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team, you will serve as a key partner to Northern Europe's regional leaders, directors and country managers. You will shape and drive sales strategy implementation across the region through analytics-driven insights, cross-functional alignment and partnerships. Your role requires translating business-critical goals into effective day-to-day operations while evolving early-stage initiatives into future-growth opportunities. Your role requires travel to meet with country teams across our region.

Responsibilities

  • Build professional relationships with executive leadership and provide an unbiased perspective to business issues and opportunities.
  • Manage delivery of annual and quarterly business planning, driving prioritization, identification of opportunities and risks, and alignment within the region.
  • Establish and drive management teams by providing structured governance and support to high-impact communications to the teams they manage.
  • Support sales commercial cadence and analysis in tandem with our regional sales operations leads.
  • Conduct and prepare regular business performance reviews across local and regional management teams to evaluate progress, recommend changes where necessary, and manage project or support initiatives across markets, functions and product areas.
