Senior Business Systems Analyst, New Product Introductions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in designing and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • 8 years of experience in building integrated systems throughout the entire lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support).
  • 5 years of experience with ERP systems, billing systems, Quote-to-Cash motions, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle), billing systems, Quote-to-Cash motions including quoting and agreement platforms CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Experience with business generation services and platforms to enable business growth streams for the organization.
  • Experience in working and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and manage technical projects.
  • Excellent project management skills including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Excellent technical process analysis skills to translate business requirements into solution architecture.

The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.

With your technical expertise, you build business applications and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of our applications and systems. You also define the scope of technical projects and oversee execution.

The New Product Introductions (NPI) team is responsible for the strategy and execution of new products, solutions, programs, pricing, and promotions to Google Cloud’s ecosystem.

In this role, you will work with cross-functional leads from Product, Pricing, Legal, Business, Finance, Global Business Practices, Order Management, Marketing, Public Relation and Professional Services teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that new Cloud products and programs are enabled end-to-end, including working with engineering teams, executing Systems Integration Testing and enabling User Acceptance Testing. You will assess current processes and implement improvements to provide partners a quality business experience. You will work with the Cloud Go-to-Market (GTM) team, ensuring promoters and global partners are ready to promote the capabilities of the new launch.Google Cloud Business Platform is a product and engineering organization responsible for the applications and platforms that drive Cloud Marketing, Sales, Partner, Support, Finance and other critical functions and help run the Google Cloud business. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the NPI launch processes for new products and programs, including gathering systems requirements, writing Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), prioritizing workstreams, and working with engineering to ensure execution including testing and validation with business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Product Managers (PMs) and business stakeholders to define product requirements, specifications, and features based on systems capabilities and business needs.
  • Identify and resolve risks and bottlenecks throughout the NPI launch cycle, ensuring delivery with quality outcomes.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and leadership to provide updates on project progress, risks and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to increase program velocity and work cross-functionally to implement changes and measure impact.
