Minimum qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a technical field.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with launching software automation tools.
  • Experience in Data Centers, mission critical or manufacturing facilities operations or projects.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The team works on systems architecture, interactions, and debug that will help maximize innovation, throughput time, and automation for Cloud Supply Chain and Server Operations (CSCSO) teams. In this role, you will collaborate on product strategy, research, requirements, development practices, issues management, and feedback.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional team driving design, development, and deployment of data center systems globally.  
  • Manage product lifecycle of software tools for data centers that drive industry leading uptime.
  • Manage product documentation (e.g., Business Requirements Document, Pilot Plan, etc.), phase gate reviews, communication and user feedback collection at various stages in the life cycle (e.g., User Acceptance Testing, User Surveys, Critical User Journeys).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders ensuring accountability for planning, providing visibility into resource needs and intake management of new features or requirements.
  • Lead the collaboration among Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain and Fleet Deployment teams to ensure regional and global alignment on strategic product and technology roadmaps.
