Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in Partner Management, Business Development, Sales, or Channel Development in the technology industry.
- 10 years of People Management experience.
- Experience in developing go-to-market offerings for migrations (VMware, Oracle, applications) based on industry and regional requirements in collaboration with partners.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in developing, launching and landing GTM offerings (VMWare, SAP) to customers and tracking new business based on industry and regional requirements.
- Experience in winning/delivering large cloud agreements.
- Experience in conducting partner executive briefings.
- Understanding of participant offerings.
- Excellent communication skills.
About the job
As Global Partner Development Manager Lead, you will lead a team of Partner Development Managers to accelerate consumption and drive unified migrations (VMWare and SAP). Your team will work across Google Cloud’s Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and customer-facing organizations to foster executive alignment with these partners, develop a co-innovation plan to develop pipeline and accelerate consumption between Google Cloud and the partners’ sales organizations. The Partner Ecosystem team manages relationships with our partners.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for our unified migration offerings, optimizing our technologies and products to help partners help their customers.
- Lead a team of PDMs, guide their immediate and long-term direction, and ensure strong results. Work collaboratively with other teams to maintain long-term productive partner relationships.
- Define clear measures of success for each partner engagement and joint customer initiative and leverage data to analyze performance, predict, and manage the evolution of our partner relationships.
- Define, review, and agree to a clear set of priorities, joint initiatives, and strategies for unified migrations with our partners.
- Drive the life-cycle of unified migration offering creation with partners, from business case, planning and governance, business value, solution differentiation, and business modeling.
