Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a semiconductor fabrication environment.
- Experience with capacity planning in a semiconductor fab.
- Experience building and implementing new systems/processes from scratch, within an industrial engineering context and scale-up of those systems and processes for a growing organization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience using data analysis tools (JMP, advanced spreadsheets), MES, data extraction and Fab operational reporting system (FabTime or equivalent).
- 2 years of experience with labor modeling and workforce planning, using time/motion studies.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma.
- Experience with end-to-end project management.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Raxium Operations team undertakes the manufacturing and logistical operations at Raxium's semiconductor manufacturing fabrication facility in Fremont where the proprietary and state-of-the-art microLED displays are fabricated. Raxium has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as Augmented Reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team, with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.
As an Industrial Engineer in our leading edge display technology semiconductor fabrication facility, you will play a key role in optimizing production efficiency, capacity utilization, and workforce management. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the establishment and scaleup of systems and overall success of our operations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$166,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Support development of capacity models. Analyze production metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Production Planning, optimizing schedules and resource allocation, proactively addressing capacity constraints.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to manage master production schedules, ensuring alignment between demand, fab capacity, and material availability. Monitor production metrics and identify deviations from plan, driving corrective actions and mitigating supply risks.
- Work with leadership to develop systems, enhancing capacity planning, labor modeling, and data-driven decision-making. Establish methods and processes, streamlining operations, and support the adoption and use of these systems and processes for operational excellence in support of rapid growth.
- Develop and maintain labor models and time studies to forecast staffing requirements, and standard times for manufacturing processes. Use statistical software and data visualization techniques to generate actionable insights, support development of reports and dashboards to track KPIs and insights.
