Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, or Program Management.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 4 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience managing rhythm of business activities, such as annual business planning, running business reviews, or target setting.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders, presenting data analysis, generating data-driven insights to influence decision-making.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in management consulting, finance, or business strategy function.
  • Experience in delivering high productivity and meeting deadlines, with a willingness to take responsibility and work in changing environments.
  • Understanding of the full enterprise sales cycle, renewal/consumption business models, and full-funnel sales motions.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (SQL, BI platforms, etc), while collaborating with other business analysts and data scientists.
  • Excellent time management and relationship building skills with sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders (BI, marketing, partners, finance, sales operations, etc).

About the job

As the Head of Region Performance, you will be responsible for leading a team of senior Region Performance Leads across different countries. You will be responsible for driving action-oriented insights for our practice areas and Go-to-Market (GTM) Geos, around our solutions, sales plays, lead generation efforts, pipeline development, and ultimate revenue consumption. You will ensure the successful execution and will bring clarity, insightful interpretation, and actionable learnings, which create impact and value for the entire Cloud Sales organization. You will be direct and data-driven, with the curiosity and autonomy to develop hypotheses about the business, and validate them by leveraging both your own problem-solving skills and the help of other teams where relevant. You will showcase thought leadership by providing executive-ready insights, frameworks, and identifying new areas of analysis, partnering closely with Practice or Geo leads in the GTM Practice organization. You will drive cross-functional coordination across multiple levels of Google Cloud, shaping, influencing and coordinating high-quality inputs from teams within the GTM Practice organization, and external local and global cross-functional teams. You will be experienced with corporate strategy and business analysis, with an understanding of Cloud business models and enterprise sales motions, and a passion to help drive digital transformation through Google Cloud technologies. You will enjoy operating in ambiguity, and be a creative business thinker who can leverage your business sense, cloud knowledge, and problem-solving ability to help prioritize sales activities and initiatives, and credibly drive impact with our field sellers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Support regional leadership teams with prioritization and targeting of sales initiatives through a data-driven approach to identify size-of-the-prize and Google’s ability to win.
  • Develop and implement measurement frameworks, to identify areas of high/low performance, and calculate Return On Investment (ROI) of specific initiatives.
  • Identify, parse, and share executive level insights, supporting the Practice organization and key business partners through both ad-hoc requests and regular cadences (forecasts, operational business reviews, etc) related to the pipeline performance.
  • Drive scalable execution, delivering actionable and industrialized insights and dashboards on our sales play and practice execution, at all levels of the organization, down to individual sales representative level.Ā 
  • Contribute to global thought-leadership on business health and performance, metrics definitions, dashboards and scaled insights, and tooling.
