Strategic Partnerships Manager, Global Partnerships SellSide (Apps/Gaming)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with online advertising or ad business generation solutions (e.g., AdMob) with the knowledge of the programmatic advertising space.
  • Experience with automated tools (e.g., spreadsheets, pivot tables, software, databases, etc.) and investigative tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase).
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline.
  • Excellent C-Level relationship building skills.
  • Ability to structure, analyze and solve business problems, and to deliver impact against concrete business goals.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will drive important new and existing partnerships and enable Apps/Gaming developers and content publishers to grow their businesses using our business generation solution powered by the AdMob platform. You will focus on new verticals or Apps/Gaming developers in a fast-paced environment and rapidly changing industry landscape that will call for creativity and thought leadership to enable business transformation. You will provide innovative, industry-leading business generation and platform solutions for developers and publishers, proactively identify new opportunities, and influence product roadmap and strategy internally.

Many of the largest app developers and content publishers rely on our products and we are always trying to exceed their expectations and strengthen our long-term partner relationships.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop valuable new business partnerships with app developers/publishers and help to grow their businesses. Design, build and launch new App centric vertical narratives in the South East Asia (SEA) market.
  • Identify business and product opportunities via data-driven analysis to expand Google’s platform and business growth.
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic partners in Singapore, helping them drive long-term sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction with Google’s suite of App ad solutions.
  • Develop executive-level relationships with partners by becoming a trusted advisor, providing business and product expertise, and providing exceptional customer support.
  • Work with a variety of teams at Google (e.g., Product, Technical Support, Marketing) to ensure your publisher partners have access to the resources they need to succeed. Recognize market needs to provide feedback to strategies and product roadmap.
