Partner Engagement Manager, YouTube TV

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in TV and digital technologies.
  • Experience working with external partners and vendors to identify technical issues and find resolutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with project management and client facing, involving the delivery of high profile projects.
  • Experience using partner facing publishing tools, CRM or other partner management systems.
  • Experience in Data Analysis, including oversight of partner success metrics.
  • Track record of successfully negotiating partner contracts.
  • Familiarity with TV broadcast terminology and processes.
  • Ability to navigate complex conversations to drive results between stakeholders with potentially competing priorities, identify and incorporate emerging industry standards.

As a YouTube Partner Engagement Manager, you will be a proven operations leader with a passion for shaping the future of TV. You will utilize your deep video technology experience, industry knowledge and existing relationships to advance YouTube’s TV strategy. You will collaborate with many cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to deliver high quality TV experiences for our users.

In this role, you will be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, diligently planning and tracking progress of key milestones, all while developing and maintaining deep relationships with our partners.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding and ongoing operational relationships with YouTube’s strategic TV partners.
  • Ensure the long-term success of partners through high-quality partner management, including supporting partners to successfully adopt new product features.
  • Represent YouTube’s operational interests during partner contract.
  • Serve as the primary advocate for partners across internal teams, ensuring alignment by navigating conversations between stakeholders with potentially competing priorities.
  • Utilize your TV industry relationships to identify and cultivate new YouTube TV content and technology opportunities.
