Strategy and Operations Senior Associate, gTech Ads

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using business intelligence and dashboards (e.g., SQL/PLX, Pulse, Connect Sales, App Scripts).
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, fast ramp-up on new problem statements and opportunities.
  • Ability to leverage a passion for business strategy and operations, problem-solving skills, and the power of data to drive insights.
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives, with increasing levels of responsibility and initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and create simple, compelling narratives for different audiences.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to successfully execute cross-functionally.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support, media, and technical services for customers, big and small, across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. In this role, you will provide a range of services: from enabling better self-help and in-product support, to providing enhanced support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and offering media solutions for customers' business and marketing needs. You'll also provide complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our top customers to scalable support for millions worldwide.

The gTech Strategy and Operations organization ensures gTech’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations against that strategy.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic initiatives. Work with senior cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on project priorities, drive alignment and enable decision making.
  • Ability to define project scope, key focus areas, analysis needed to uncover opportunities and drive stakeholder alignment and consensus to deliver business impact.
  • Drive business insights leveraging data and analyses to inform strategic decisions. Build reporting automation/scale solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Communicate findings to executive leadership in the shape of executive-ready presentations and thoughtful facilitation of strategy topics across functional teams.
