  • Experience with RoHS, REACH, SCIP, TSCA, WEEE, EPR, Circularity and other environmental regulatory regimes.
  • Experience with EMC, Safety, Homologation and enabling environmental data collection systems.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a part of The Hardware Regulatory Compliance Team, we secure and manage mandatory Environmental, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), safety and certification approvals for Google hardware deployed globally. Our proactive approach accelerates time to market and ensures compliance across all product development phases, enabling successful worldwide deployment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Execute Sustainability, Environmental, EMC and Safety Compliance audits, evaluations, testing and certification for a product portfolio.
  • Co-ordinate with manufacturers to collect environmental data and conduct campaigns such as REACH, SCIP, TSCA, Conflict Minerals, Full Material Disclosures (FMD).
  • Identify global Homologation requirements for Sustainability, Safety, EMC, Telecommunication and Environmental Compliance.
  • Manage all compliance documentation with suppliers and agencies to enable global product transactions and homologation applications.
  • Work with Google legal and finance teams to create and manage team wide Statements of Work (SoWs), Purchase Orders and Powers of Attorney (PoAs).
