Chromebook Retail Partner Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Category Management/Development and Channel Marketing.
  • Experience with retail execution, end-to-end partnerships, and compliance management.
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building strategic-oriented business plans and engaging with large, complex retailers or distributors.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of financials and market information, identifying trends/opportunities and the reasons behind them.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.

The Go-to-Market team works cross-functionally to set the overall business strategy, ensure channel and partner launch readiness, and manage business planning. Our team is responsible for executing on margin guidelines and working with manufacturers (OEMs) and retail partners to drive the business of Chromebooks. We drive decisions for the product line (Chromebooks) to define market opportunities, including device assortment and retail execution. We work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, Sales and Supply Chain to develop the Chrome OS business. You will join a recently launched Chromebook market where we test to learn & where a lot of the business is yet to develop with our current and upcoming partners. As a Retail Partner Manager, you will be executing our GTM strategy to distribute Chromebooks to Spanish retailers. You will ensure that we accelerate the Chrome OS ecosystem, be responsible for the business success of your partners, drive business, and partner strategic planning and execution. You'll be responsible for promotional strategies, supply chain efficiencies, and driving unit sales in order to meet the goals of our Chromebook business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of our relationships with our key retail partners, driving new opportunities for Chromebooks business growth and product distribution.
  • Plan the full-year consumer Chromebook strategy with relevant local and global cross-functional teams. Partner with local OEMs to secure ranging at top retail partners, and identify key sales activities, secure their commitment and implement the strategy.
  • Execute agreed upon sales activities - contract, PO, report, invoice management, marketing development funding, retail forecasting, and ecosystem promo calendar.
  • Follow up with external partners to collect and report execution results and analyze the sales impact.
  • Ensure quality execution, and have regular interactions with Devices and Services, Education, and Business-to-Business teams to align on priorities and joint opportunities, as well as with other GTM teams to share best practices.
