Global Partner Development Manager, Startups, Springboard, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience managing and building relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in public Google Cloud solutions across Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) markets.
  • Experience managing startup partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience with simplifying processes and evolving partner and customer value propositions, with a passion for positive change and innovation.
  • Experience working with the startup ecosystem, VCs and accelerators.
  • Ability to meet partner needs, delivering complete solutions and seamless experiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and share talent and ideas to achieve broader organizational goals.

About the job

As a Global Partner Development Manager (PDM) in the ISV Startup Springboard, you will develop and drive Google Cloud business relationships with startups, partners and their customers, establishing deep technical integrations, business relationships, and ensuring delivery against business performance goal with our partners. You will collaborate with cross-functional peers to develop a strategy for the emerging startup ecosystem in areas like AI, Analytics, and Cybersecurity, and be responsible for building partner relationships, negotiating business agreements, and delivering value to business by managing them throughout the partner lifecycle; from business planning to integration to go-to-market and business generation. You'll also work closely with Product Management, the vendors and industry trends that will enable your success in driving partnerships.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Advocate for, devise, build, and manage initiatives to increase engagement of Google Cloud with high potential early-stage B2B startups, driving increased mind-share and adoption in the ecosystem.
  • Be the "landing zone" for emerging partners. Help partners leverage Google's technology/products as well as GTM programs.
  • Build business plans collaboratively with partners and cross-functional stakeholders in Google Cloud (Product, Solutions, Sales, etc.) to achieve company objectives; drive quarterly progress towards strategic goals within a joint business plan.
  • Act as an advocate for the market by synthesizing startup ecosystem trends into insights for internal teams and leading market-facing initiatives, such as co-hosting events with Google Startups and Marketing teams to feature Springboard partners.
  • Be the accountable owner responsible for leading all partnership aspects for emerging partners across the Google Cloud portfolio and deliver measurable outcomes.
