Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in organic growth marketing (i.e., non-paid) or developing and executing on email experiments.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with problem solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings.
  • Experience in cultivating and growing online communities and newsletter subscribers.
  • Experience managing growth across email and web for B2B growth marketing programs.
  • Knowledge of email marketing trends and user needs.
  • Knowledge of video, podcast, and social trends for B2B audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills.

About the job

We are seeking a data-driven growth marketer to grow our business by improving engagement with our customers on email. You will develop and execute on a cross-channel strategy to attract and nurture a community of senior marketers, with a focus on upper and mid-funnel engagement through email. A core part of this job is continual experimentation to drive growth, resulting in leads/referrals to sales.

As an Individual Contributor, you will ensure our channel strategy is implemented and adapt our actions based on data.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Own development, delivery, and continual refinement of email strategy, to drive business objectives (e.g., leads) and lead execution and growth goals for email newsletter with millions of subscribers, including content and regional collaboration.
  • Develop an integrated strategy across channels and a distinct strategy for each channel to optimize each channel for content distribution (web, social media, email) and engagement. Execute on channel strategy to drive results across audience engagement and business metrics.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, shares, open rates, click-through rates, loyalty) to refine execution plan and improve metrics in line with industry best practice.
  • Implement strategies to grow and segment email lists, social media followers, and other audience communities.
  • Partner with editorial team on the curation of thought leadership/insights content for email and other channels that resonates with respective audiences.
