As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager in the Regulatory Controls and Audit Team, you will provide critical support and expertise across Trust and Safety.
Understand the potential impact of new regulations on Trust and Safety teams and processes, in-depth search into the incredible work that Trust and Safety does to keep users and our platforms safe via a process and control lens. Work in pioneering areas of AI safety and innovation. Help to mature our control environment which in turn will benefit our users, regulators and business decision-making capability. Support the business to achieve continuous compliance with regulatory obligations via durable, efficient and audit-ready processes and controls.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across Trust and Safety Global Affairs and the product areas to ensure we have full visibility of the most important regulations impacting our business.
  • Program manage efforts to ensure existing processes and controls meet regulatory obligations.
  • Work to enhance controls to ensure we can continue to monitor compliance health and effectiveness via monitoring controls and metrics.
  • Work with Legal and Policy teams to consult on areas of compliance ambiguity to ensure the optimal compliance positions are maintained.
  • Apply diligent program management principles to all work streams to ensure we continue to prioritize, re-prioritize and deliver the most important and impactful work for Trust and Safety, backed by metrics and sleek data reporting solutions.
