Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience influencing at different organizational levels.
  • 3 years of experience in advertising, consultative business, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience in critical business areas, with understanding of the broader industry and engaged landscape.

About the job

In this role, you will collaborate with pGTM product leads, their teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Agency Go-To-Market (AGTM) Ads Business Strategy and Operations (ABS&O), AGTM Business, Ads Finance, Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS) promoters). You will accelerate ALCS business growth and ensure the long-term viability of the business by addressing critical strategic cross-product issues and opportunities, overseeing strategic and intricate workstreams, and developing and supporting exceptional processes. You will also serve as a crucial thought partner to pGTM leadership on pivotal strategic matters, providing clear direction for issues, extracting valuable business insights, and identifying proactive opportunities to enhance our cross-product activation strategies within the region. You will have collaborating skills, excellent communication, structured and bold strategic thinking, and an action-oriented approach. You will act as a structured problem solver and a clear communicator who will inspire individuals at all levels of the organization.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic thought leadership to enhance activation, explore new business opportunities, and improve execution.
  • Manage key initiatives, such as Planning, the Plays Program, and Specialist Cadence, to advance pGTM priorities, ensuring structured thought leadership and thorough follow-through.
  • Collaborate with peer teams in product Go-to-Market (pGTM) to formulate a cohesive, cross-product strategy and operational framework for Americas large customer sales (LCS).
  • Influence internal cross-functional leadership, including Product, Business, gTech, Ads Finance, and other GTM teams, regarding product strategy and commercialization.
