Strategic Partner Development Manager, Android Enterprise, Business Development

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree, especially with engineering and business focus, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the enterprise mobile industry.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in the enterprise mobile industry, across devices, telecommunications, mobile device management (MDM / UEM), or related start-ups, as well as experience with Enterprise IT deployments.
  • Experience with Android in a B2B environment.
  • Experience with partnership development and relationship management.
  • Ability to engage across Large Enterprise, Mid Market, and Small and Medium Business.
  • Ability to work across disciplines and teams to close agreements and manage partners.
  • Ability to serve as an advocate for your ecosystem internally and work collaboratively to identify opportunities or resolve issues.

Business-to-Business (B2B), from Large Enterprise to Small and Medium Businesses (SMB), is a strategically important market segment for the Platforms and Devices business at Google. The Android Enterprise Partnerships team works across the ecosystem to help our partners bring the best of Android to companies and their users at Work. To achieve this, we must support a broad spectrum of partners in key areas such as training, enablement, technology adoption and go-to-market. These partners include Carriers, Enterprise Mobility Management partners (EMMs), Value Added Resellers (VARs), Retailers and OEMs. Our goal is to help users leverage the Android platform in a secure and manageable way, leveraging the best in AI and helping them boost employee productivity, safely and securely, in today's workplace.Android is Google’s open-source mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide. Android is about bringing computing to everyone in the world. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to establish Android Enterprise across the North American ecosystem, driving customer adoption and growth. Collaborate with key partners, including Carriers, OEMs, EMMs, SIs, and VAR channels.
  • Create joint business plans and conduct regular reviews to ensure delivery of business outcomes for Android and partners.
  • Collaborate with local Platforms and Devices Partnerships, Android Enterprise Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Finance, on new initiatives and strategic relationships.
  • Provide local market insights to inform product direction and ensure success in this critical growth market. Act as primary escalation point for enterprise relationships across the ecosystem.
  • Navigate the complexity and ambiguity associated with building a presence from the ground up, establishing Google as a leader in Business-to-Business (B2B). Exhibit a high degree of internal and external entrepreneurship to ensure prioritization within the organization.
