Analytical Lead, Large Customer Sales (Spanish, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or in a data science field.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc.).
  • Experience with data analytics or online experimentation via A/B testing.
  • Experience using SQL to extract data, or with other programming or scripting languages such as R or Python.
  • Ability to transform data into insights and narratives.
  • Excellent communication skills along with the ability to deliver engaging stories to audiences of all levels.

About the job

As an Analytical Lead, you use data-driven insights to help our customers achieve their business objectives. You are a trusted advisor to large customers and help influence the customers’ marketing measurement plans. You are a key partner to Google's ad sales teams, who work to bring the best of Google's advertising solutions to their customers.


You have experience in strategy consulting, marketing analytics, financial modeling, or statistical analysis. You are able to analyze datasets and identify insights. You will help customers increase their measurement maturity by adopting standard procedures in marketing measurement and media attribution. You will use Google internal data, customer marketing campaign performance data, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and marketing strategies that drive growth for the customers and Google.

You have excellent problem-solving skills and navigate through ambiguity. You work directly with customers and own relationships with key decision makers, including leaders in strategy and analytics teams. You have experience navigating cross-functional teams and influencing without authority. You will motivate change both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with customer leadership to uncover business objectives and challenges.
  • Analyze data to identify and quantify growth opportunities for the customers, uncovering and prioritizing solutions to their marketing and business challenges.
  • Develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, earning their trust to challenge the status quo by telling engaging stories with data.
  • Leverage the expertise in measurement solutions like incrementality, marketing mix models and attribution to test and measure the success and impact of the recommendations, helping our customers understand the value provided by Google's partnership.
  • Collaborate with other Googlers and partner with internal and external product, research, data and measurement teams to define a cross-media measurement standard that supports a fair measurement for a customer's business.
