Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience developing technical strategy and managing security in areas including Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Management, Platform Sustaining Issue Management (PSIM), IT Networking, or Construction/Architecture.
  • Experience in vendor or contract management.
  • Experience interacting with technical and non-technical groups at various levels.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Physical Security systems such as Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Case Management and Video Management.
  • Experience with product management or product line engineering.
  • Ability to lead projects by navigating priorities, measurable objectives, dependencies, planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and subsequent monitoring, through informal authority.
  • Ability to take initiative while building cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent investigative, communication, and people management skills.

The Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) Systems and Technology team is responsible for enterprise security technology that improves Google's ability to anticipate, detect, deter, and take action efficiently and effectively during all types of security incidents globally. The team works across GSRS, Google and Alphabet to deliver products that extract data from the security systems and make it available for process improvement of all kinds.

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the Global Security Systems and Technology (GSST) System Data and Tools, you will be responsible for leading initiatives that leverage data to make Google more secure and more efficiently run. You will take accountability to define and drive the development of a line of data products to cater to the various needs of stakeholders internal to GSRS and across Alphabet. You will work with data engineers to source data from a variety of physical security systems First-Party and Third-Party (1P and 3P) delivering pipelines, dashboards and data integrations.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with internal clients, cross-functional partners, and engineering teams to deliver technology against physical security strategies with a focus on scalable growth, automation, risk management, and business process improvement.
  • Support the delivery of data products, from product line planning to tactical activities such as gathering business requirements, documenting product data requirements, developing user stories, and creating project, roll-out and communications plans.
  • Identify and track changing business conditions in Google and relevant industries to evolve security strategies and related products for stakeholders.
  • Manage confidential information and safeguard company intellectual property.
