I use this app constantly. One of the things that I cannot stand is the fact that there seems to be no way to shut off the screen prompt for quick phrases without disabling the quick phrase. I love using "stop" and "snooze" for alarms and timers, I often use "answer" and "decline" for incoming phone calls. I don't love that the prompt completely covers up the caller's name. It should be possible to disable the onscreen prompt. Also, the email listed in the app store is disabled.

I cannot hear Google Assistant respond at all. The volume is completely up and I have checked all the recommended settings. I have cleared the cache and the data. I have restarted the phone and I have completely turned it off and waited awhile before I turned it back on. no matter what I do it's complete silence when I activate Google Assistant. This is extremely frustrating.

Thanks for reporting this issue, Quinntita. Have you tried these steps to retrain the voice model (See "Teach the Google Assistant to recognize your voice" section): https://goo.gl/TBeJX7? If that doesn't resolve the issue, please create a post in our Google Assistant Help Forums for our experts to assist: https://goo.gle/2Ts2BnR. Hope this helps.

worked as intended until the most recent update, the assistant will not work in any functional way, even looking up the weather, but the voice thing pops up, so it's not a UI issue. my phone call and text voice requests tell me to use the Google setup for contacts, but even then, it doesn't work, and I can't even set a location while using android Auto voice controls. honestly, I don't care if my update comes late as long as I have a working product. please patch this issue as soon as possible.
